|:| Dirt |:|

Dirty Old Town is a new film set in New York's
Bowery area. Filled with the type of characters
that area has in abundance, I'm interested in
what this flick will be like.
You can check the trailer here.
Oh yes, Abel Ferrara has a hand in it too.

|:| Noah's Art |:|

Many moons ago I interviewed Noah Butkus
and he has just gone from strength to strength.
He has a new show on in LA's HVW8 Gallery
called "Slippery People" which opened last night.
If I was over there I'd go and check it.

|:| Magic |:|

The Edinburgh Film Festival starts on
the 16th June and begins with a showing of
"The Illusionist", the new film by Sylvain Chomet.
It looks amazing and unsuprisingly the
screening is sold out, but here's an interview
with Chomet about the film.
They have to making of it on the following day.
Also showing is "The People Vs George Lucas".
At least I can go to some of this.

|:| Wild Things |:|

Likewise, if I was in London I'd be tottering
along to Stolen Space to see "Return To The Wild"
by dynamic duo Kai & Sunny. It's looks pretty
nice and runs until 20th June.

|:| How To Paint, What To Paint |:|

If I was in Rome right now I'd be going along
to the Christopher Wool exhibition which runs
until the end of the month in the Gagosian Gallery.
