As though the work of Noma Bar is not
already nice enough he's gone and created
a machine shaped like one of his most famous
works that you can go and get your own
die-cut artwork from.
It's going to part of "Cut It Out" and will be
on display at Outline Editions in London
from 17th September.

After last weeks chaotic scenes in the UK
and the disasterous PIAS fire in London,
Finders Keepers, Twisted Nerve, Bird and
Battered Ormnaments (who lost 90% of their
stock) have created a "Make Do And Mend"
series of compilations. The initial set are
selected by Jarvis Cocker, David Holmes,
Gruff Rhys and Demdike Stare and go
through their favourite tracks, remixes and
edits from the back catalogues of these
labels and are only £5 each. Bargain.

Quite simply a collection of record labels.

More skateboarding stuff and this time
a new film by Florian Schneider called
"Pushed" which features the influence
riding a skateboard has had on their lives
as well as their art. It focuses on Adam Sello,
Pontus Alv, Stefan Marx and one of my
all time favourites, Bobby Puleo.

are throwing a wee shindig this Thursday
and have created a special edition t-shirt

drawn on these versions.

Next Friday (15th) The Fruitmarket Gallery
is hosting a DesignMarket which will feature
a host of locals selling their wares in various
mediums. It  opens at 5pm on Friday and runs
until Sunday 17th and would be well worth
a peek I'm sure.

I like the use of old decks to create these
sunglasses by the Vuerich brothers.

bound to be a session worth checking.

which contains, well, your guess is

The box comes nailed shut and has
