and the disasterous PIAS fire in London,
Finders Keepers, Twisted Nerve, Bird and
Battered Ormnaments (who lost 90% of their
stock) have created a "Make Do And Mend"
series of compilations. The initial set are
selected by Jarvis Cocker, David Holmes,
Gruff Rhys and Demdike Stare and go
through their favourite tracks, remixes and
edits from the back catalogues of these
labels and are only £5 each. Bargain.

"Pushed" which features the influence

which was hosting a pretty impressive
show of works by Mark Bodé, Dr. Revolt,
Jean 13 and Stan 153.
The gallery is joint onto Brooklyn Tattoo
and called Urban Folk Art, worth a look.

design archive.

The Strokes, I actually assumed they were no
more what with the solo ventrues etc.
Not really looking into it too much I was surprised
when I found out that they are giving a away their
new single, "Under Cover Of Darkness" online
and for 48 hours only (until all the blogs keep giving
it away I assume).
